IS THIS LIKE COUNSELLING?

No, the approaches and techniques I teach are different to counselling. Whilst traditional talking therapy offers and in-depth exploration of past life events and how they correlate to your current emotional state, this mental health coaching focuses on you current behavioural and thinking habits and how you can make practical changes to feel better.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS BEFORE I COMMIT?

That’s completely understandable! Because of that, I offer a free 30 minute consultation before beginning any programme to ensure that you feel informed and confident before committing to any sessions.

WHO IS THIS SUITABLE FOR?

These services are suitable for anyone who is aged 18 or over, who is English-speaking, and who needs support reaching their goals. If you sense that you are being held back by feelings of anxiety, low mood, lack of motivation or low-self esteem, then this might be the best solution for you!

WHO IS THIS NOT SUITABLE FOR?

As this is  short-term mental health coaching, it may not be the most effective level of care if you are experiencing significant and highly limiting psychological distress. In our initial consultation we will discuss whether this service is the most appropriate treatment for you. If you do require longer-term or more specialized support, then I will be able to point you in the right direction to receive that.
